Christmas Day!

Jack woke up about 7:30 and sprinted for the stairs.. He found the stash that Santa left for him on the arm chair by the fireplace. Then he found another stash by the dinng room. I was lucky Grandpa was right there to get this picture, I was right behind with my camera, but not quick enough, I was rolling out of bed and not quite as spry as our wee one.

After checking everything out he put the Santa hat on and was ready for everyone to sit down so he could pass out presents. He was very curious what was in those packages....

He finally got to open his presents and opened the present from us. It was the helicopter he wanted more than anything and he was ecstatic! The look on his face is priceless.. Then he opened a present from Grandma and Grandpa and he got another! He freaked out and could not believe he got TWO of what he wanted most!! We opened the rest of the presents and had a nice quiet morning. Jack played with his toys and we had a brunch with his parents and Grandparents.. All in all Jack had a Wonderful Christmas.

The Nutcracker 2010

The Nutcracker Ballet 2010 was a blast. Our seats this year were much better. We were so much closer. When we got to our seats, Jack was excited and was persistent about his part in the ballet. He wanted to know when he and his Dad were going to go down and get their costumes on and go on the stage. He really thought he was going to be the Nutcracker and his Dad the Mouse King. It was entirely too sweet. I told him that he would have to wait and practice. He was full of questions of course and loved every minute of it.. Half time of course was to buy his ornament time. He took his time and took every minute to pick it out. We were actually a little late to our seats and I slipped and fell on my butt :/ ugh.. The stars of the show were breathless and my favorite part. :::Sigh::: I love watching the prima ballerina..

Soo, next year.. I can't wait.. I love this Holiday tradition we have...

And I just found out there is a Polar Express here in Oregon!!! Hooray!!

My other Christmas...

I had "Christmas" with Andrew, Matt and Darienne. It was a nice visit. Zoey was a chunky sweet monkey who is standing UP on her own ( she just needs a spotter!), and is still totally breastfed! Andrew is doing awesome in school. Matt is doing good as well.. Darienne is a very good mommy. I am proud of her. I only took a few pictures when I was there of my babies, I regret, and took a TON of Zoey, which I am glad I did since she is changing by the hour. Dare and I made chocolate Crinkles at Nan's house that were sooo good. The boys weren't really interested as they were flying their helicopers ( presents Jack picked out special for his brothers ).

Gold's Gym

I never thought I would write something like this, but yesterday Justin some how, some way lured me into a nearby Gold's Gym and signed us up for a year membership. Don't think I didn't go in kicking and screaming.. I didn't want to pay out that much this time of year. But... We did.

Tonight was the first night working out. I managed. I (me), yes ME put tennis shoes on and got on an elliptical machine for 15 minutes, and Justin too. Then we went down stairs and he did his thing. They have a "play room" as Jack calls it, and a couple of nights a week I will do this. Hopefully this will help me feel better about myself, make me feel better, etc.. :::sigh:::
